The policies posted below to protect the rights of all attendees, hosts, and
the Argyle Bluegrass Festival organization. Thank you for understanding and your cooperation!
Jamming Policy Jamming
is an integral part of the enjoyment of bluegrass festivals. In an effort to accommodate all of our
jamming patrons, designated jamming areas are available for your use during the Argyle Bluegrass Festival.
However, in order to comply with our agreements with our host, Cross Timbers Community Church, the following policy applies
to jamming during the Festival. · Jamming is permitted in designated Jamming Areas during designated hours only.
See the Festival Program or signs in Main Lobby for location of Jamming Areas and jamming hours. - Persons in Jamming
Areas assume all risk for their personal safety and that of their personal belongings. Neither the Argyle
Bluegrass Festival, Inc. or Cross Timbers Community Church nor any of their officers, directors or other agents or representatives
shall be liable under any circumstances or from any cause for any loss, damage (including without limitation, direct, indirect,
consequential, exemplary or punitive damages), claim, death, personal injury, property damage or other liability to persons
or property.
Parking Policy
Cross
Timbers Community Church and Liberty Christian School have generously made their parking areas available for use by our patrons.
In order for there to be an orderly flow of traffic and in order to accommodate our patrons in the use of parking facilities
with limited capacity, we are asking each of our patrons to adhere to the following rules during their attendance at the Argyle
Bluegrass Festival. PLEASE LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AND TAKE ALL VALUABLES WITH YOU. Neither
the Argyle Bluegrass Festival, Cross Timbers Community Church or Liberty Christian School nor any of their officers, directors
or other agents or representatives shall be liable under any circumstances for any lost or stolen items left in vehicles or
for damage to vehicles. Because space is limited, please adhere to a “one car, one space” policy. Parking is
restricted to paved and designated areas only. No vehicle shall be parked in any area prohibiting same
or in handicap, reserved or other restricted areas. Parking is restricted to cars and trucks only.
Motor homes, recreational vehicles, travel trailers and campers are not permitted to park at Festival venue.
Parking for such vehicles is available in other area facilities, including Corral City at IH-35W and SH 407.
For further information, go to “Frequently Asked Questions” on our website. Overnight parking
is not permitted in parking areas. Tailgating and jamming in parking areas are permitted so long as the health,
safety and welfare of our patrons is not affected. The use of additional parking spaces for tailgating
is not permitted. Grills are not permitted. Please dispose of trash in trash receptacles
located throughout the parking areas. Violations
of this policy may result in the removal of a vehicle from the parking facilities at the owner’s expense.
Recording Policy The Argyle Bluegrass Festival has contractual obligations
with each of our performing artists to the effect that there will be no audio or audio-visual
recordings of any artist’s performance during the Festival (with the exception of the official archival recordings maintained
by the Festival. In order to comply with our contractual obligations, we are instituting the following recording policy which
will be strictly enforced for the Friday and Saturday concerts. No audio or audio-visual recordings of
any type are permitted to be made of any portion of an artist’s performance. We ask each of our patrons to adhere to
this policy. - Any patron who is found to be recording any
portion of an artist’s performance may be removed from the concert venue by our security staff and will not be permitted
to return to the Festival grounds and will not receive a refund.
Any
recording equipment of any type is subject to being impounded by our security staff and the recording destroyed if any patron
is found to be recording any portion of an artist’s performance. Recording an artist’s performance is an infringement of their and our rights and constitutes
a violation of Federal and other applicable copyright and other laws. Any
person found to be violating this policy may be subjected to legal action at the discretion of Festival management. By purchasing a ticket and entering the concert venue and Festival grounds, you are agreeing
to be bound by this policy.
Seating Policy The Argyle Bluegrass Festival
wants all of our patrons to enjoy the entertainment. In order to achieve this and hopefully to maximize
everyone’s listening pleasure, we have instituted the following Seating Policy that we ask all patrons to adhere to
for Friday and Saturday concerts. - All seats require a ticket for entry into concert venue. Argyle
Bluegrass Festival, Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. No refunds will be issued as a
result of lost or stolen tickets.
- All reserved seats require a reserved
seat ticket (children included). Parents who purchase reserved seat tickets and wish for their children
to sit with them must purchase reserved seat tickets for the children as well. Seats are marked and ushers
are available to assist in locating seats.
- No reserved or general admission
ticket is required for a child (2 years of age or younger) that is sitting in the parent’s lap.
- General admission seats that are not occupied for 10 minutes or longer shall be considered “free seats”
and may be occupied by other patrons.
- Any personal belongings left
in seats at end of day will be removed and taken to Lost & Found at Instrument Check desk in main lobby. The
Argyle Bluegrass Festival is not responsible for personal belongings left in seats.
- General
admission seats are available on a “first come first served” basis.
- Please
keep ticket stubs on your person at all times. Reserved seats will become “free seats” if you
are unable to present ticket stubs or other proof of purchase evidencing your right to such seats.
